Crashing on load since last patch, can't start the game

Can't start the game since the last patch, neither x64 nor the other file.

In case it matters, Nvidia RTX 2600, and they also released an update recently.

Update: Managed to load after 20 tries or so, game was laggy and had visual artifacts. Switching to DX11 seems to have fixed it. Alas, DX11 is laggy and terrible for other reasons, so I'll wait for a fix before I start the league.

I too am getting the cogs of death. For some reason after todays update i am unable to load pass GGG intro.

update did a full repair and a re-install still getting the gears of death.

the game has a logfile in c:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\logs\client.txt

just lookup any error messages that look suspicious

Fixed it!

Going to DX11, playing around a bit, and then switching back to Vulkan removed all issues. I guess some bugged files/textures before that got updated.

Fixed it. Was counting sheep. Nothing else, that must have helped :)
