"ignore" - only that character or all characters by that player?

I just got scammed (in a trade).

I'd like to protect myself from that player by 'ignoring' them, so I wonder: will the 'ignore' apply only to that particular character or to ALL characters owned by that player? (i.e. could that player [try to ;-] scam me again simply by whispering me using a different character?)

Ignore blocks the account, so all characters.

You e-mail GGG support with all the proof you have -->
- Trade URL's
- Chat logs from client.txt
- Screenshots / video of the trade / trade window
