Is Corpse Pact's "Corpses you spawn have 50% increased life" Multiplicitive
Hi, I've been searching for hours and have gotten mixed information on this one. I am wondering if the Corpse Pact Noteable's, from the Necromancer Ascendency, "Corpses you spawn have 50% increased life" is multiplicative or additive with a monster's already applied Life Modifier.
For example: https://poedb.tw/us/Guard_Captain#GuardCaptainMilitaryMelee4EliteGuard This Mob has a listed life mod of +750%. If i were to raise this spectre and then desecrate its corpse in a level 84 area I am assuming that its' corpse life would be as listed for the normal version of the mob ( 300,0008 hp ). For my math lets just say the mobs hp is 300,000 to make things easier. This is where i get lost: If we assume the DB information is accurate and work backwards: 300,00 /8.5 = ~35294 base hp. Would the corpse HP with corpse pact be 35294 x 9 = ~317,646 HP. Or 35294 x 8.5 x 1.5 = ~449,998 HP? Last bumped on Oct 11, 2021, 8:55:58 PM

Increased means its additive. If it said 50% more it would be multiplicative.

" Right. But that is assuming that the modifier to the specific mobs life is counted as an increased modifier (which on the poe db page it does not specify) right? And also assumes that the spawned corpse is still treated the same as the mob if it were alive. I didn't think about this before, but to me it would make sense if mods applied to the corpse were in a separate " step " beyond mods applied directly to the mob. Unsure though. |
