Removal of dodge seems consequent but left an unfilled void imo. Right now pure evasion will get you killed no matter what. Spellsuppression feels horrible to me. Having any value below 100% feels just as bad as having 0%. There are way too many spellhits in such little time to rely on it. I think the chance to suppress spells should automatically be set to 100% once you scale it. In return, the amount that is suppressed should be scaleable with proper deminishing returns and tuned to appropriate values. Evasion is already a rng layer of defense, i dont need more of that.

" eva is a lot better now the thing is,now you really need gear the old dodge gave a safe and nice baseline with worse scaling options yes,spell suppress really needs the 100% breakpoint spell suppression stats can be very high on non influenced items (20+% on boots,helmet and gloves + 30+% on body armor the best thing about it is,that you can still get spellblock i run tempest shield mostly for shock immunity and get 26% spellblock from it as well pair this with the 25% baseblock on shields + high eva and you will be rather tanky (assuming you didint skip on life on gear/passiv tree) i´m not say defenses are in the best spot ever,but you can pretty good values with reasonable investments |

Btw, one of the best, if not the best current HC SSF player, Darkee/Lightee acknowledged that spell suppression is much better than dodge simply for the fact that you can have 100% chance to halve spell damage, and he would pick up that any day instead of old spell dodge.
Just watch him complete new 30 wave simulacrum and the feared with all bosses released at once on HC SSF. "How come only evil forces were released?" - "Because there are no good forces."
