Awakened PoE Trade Overlay (Bannable?)
See no evil.
Hear no evil. Speak no evil. Get no evil ban. Also notice what's missing from the list. :P |

" the question behind is: why do i have to take a disadvantage playing the game i supported because i supported and got something to lose? age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
| |
if its not bannable then why wont they just say it? it has been asked multiple times and they never give a straight answer.
its really annoying because i would like to use it as well but i'm not risking losing my account. |

You can be banned for any reason, or for no reason at all.
That's why they can't say that. It would contradict their own ToS. |

Yep. Pretty much every online game holds that as a right. Arguing with people is just too much trouble. Better if they have a rule that lets them get out of it.
Rule 17: Cancellation of Membership: Grinding Gear Games reserves the right, acting at its sole discretion, to refuse to accept your registration request for a Member Account. To the greatest extent permitted by law, Grinding Gear Games also reserves the right, acting at its sole discretion, at any time to cancel your registration and access to your Member Account or to restrict, limit or otherwise change your existing rights of access to your Member Account, or any specific feature or benefit afforded to you in relation to your Member Account, including without limitation in respect of any Virtual Items, if it believes you have breached these Terms of Use or any other agreements you may have with Grinding Gear Games, if you have engaged in behaviour which Grinding Gear Games deems in its sole discretion is not in keeping with the intended spirit of participation in PoE or for any other reason whatsoever. In such event you agree that Grinding Gear Games will not be required to provide you with prior notice or explanation in respect of such action. Notwithstanding the cancellation of access to your Member Account in any case, you agree you will remain fully liable for any outstanding liability owed to Grinding Gear Games. Grinding Gear Games may also, where it believes such action is necessary, without notice block IP addresses of any users who have breached the Terms of Use Last edited by Shagsbeard#3964 on Oct 14, 2021, 12:47:35 PM

I got 2 accounts banned already by using Awakaned PoE trader, it is RNG, some friends don't get banned, 3 of us did get banned, so did many streamers, but because they are streamers with a fanbase they get their ban reversed to not lose "face" or "reputation", making them look OK. But if you aren't a streamer the ban stays. I don't care because I never play on standard ladder once the league/expansion is over and I don't spend much money on stuff ingame, I can spend money because I made btc since '09 so it's OK for me to lose stuff. I know the worth of items and 99.97% of all drops are bad, problem is many people that play 2-3 years still don't know the value of items and gather them all in their stashes, buying insane amounts of tabs for no reason. Been playing PoE since the beta in 2011 pre-Steam btw. Also, the Terms of Use clearly states it's bannable, and me and my friends also e-mailed them a couple of times with the question, they always stayed very fague about it until I found a different support worker that did say they do banwaves for trade macro's once a year, but it's all about luck, about how many times you use it and therefor spam their site API (Path of exile trade section). If you care about your account and spend money on it, never use any addon, macro at all, or get 100ks followers on Twitch first.

" lmao, no one is going to tell you that. If you are going to tell porkies at least try and make them slightly believable. "You want it to be one way, but it's the other way"

I can confirm that every macro or overlay is bannable, because bans are distributed by bots automatically. You can try to appeal the ban, arguing that Awakened POE trade, or POE trade macro, you were using did not break ToU, and after a week they will basically tell you they don't care.
It's not a conspiracy or anything else. Simply said. Every macro or overlay is bannable, even if it's your keyboard's software, it's just a matter of waiting until their bots tag you :) tldr: Yes, don't use overlays if you want to keep your microtransactions (you won't get refunds either, I tried) |

" Errm, pardon my french, but how do exactly your hypothetical "bots" detect that - does ggg automatically installs some kind of troyan on your system, or shares your webcam so Chris could spy on you? If poe client was indeed that paranoid, it would ban everyone with an anivirus cause ya know, it tends to read other processes memory.
