Can we get rid of damage reflect on map affix pool already?
" This is the real solution... I started this league with Brutality Rage Vortex Berserker that couldn't run phys reflect maps. So when I vaaled a T13 and it picked up phys reflect, I traded it for a different map with elemental reflect, and ran that instead. Also, corrupted maps can still be sacrificed in Harvest recipes so even if you're playing in SSF a "bricked" map is far from worthless. |

Reflect does affect build diversity a bit. Its always good to start with a chaos char as a league starter to make sure you can do all content.

One easy solution is make damage about as easy to get as health, that way reflect damage wouldn't instant kill you when reflecting 14% back to the player.
Reflect is scary because it is isn't, offscreen a player, and will almost always gib you. Even a cold dot build using cold snap can oneshot their defenses if hitting like 2-3 mobs. the easiest solution is to just make reflect deal damage over time that you can flask through. It is strange that map mods exist that just shut down entire builds. Like imagine a map mod that just said no minions of any kind. Goodbye most of the meta. Same if it was no trap/totem/trigger/channeled skills. These effects should be heavily reduced or give players a way of dealing with them without complete immunity. |
