How it fits the theme?: It's the old west meets steampunk/power. Niko's invention brings both settlers and smugglers alike. Travelers bring pillaged wares from the south for trade and tourists take the train with hopes of settling.

How it fits the theme?: It's a medieval village, and like all medieval villages it has it's village square. A cathedral, with some kids playing ding-dong ditch with Cassia. A café with outdoor dining. A functional well, and a not so functional well that Niko is working on. An inn.....with a red light......and Helena.....with a bag of who knows what. A drunk guard.
Some new arrivals to town, the Kalguur, being hounded by some begging kids looking for handouts. Einhar's Bar. Get some Purple Drink and forget your troubles. A blacksmith shop to fix your busted ass wagon....like Alva. A small market. A guy hitting on some girls (village idiot?). A pissed off wife that won't let her husband in the house (village idiot #2?). A broken barrel of wine. Cassia's gonna be pissed!.....and cobblestone streets!

How it fits the theme?: A family of traders who retired to a remote island to live in peace.

How it fits the theme?: This, now a poor slum town, was once a Fellshrine cathedral. With churches and there was, Most importantly, the presence of innocence himself.

How it fits the theme?: It's a fishing village named after the statue of the sisters. There are simple folks, traders, crafters and a ruler.

How it fits the theme?: It's based on a medieval town at night when its pooring down with rain and the roads are submerged with water. Theres a Tavern, blacksmith, weapons dealer, dock, store and a small market.

How it fits the theme?: You have been exiled, as have all the ones you learned to know and love. Starting from nothing, you have amassed some goods to help you survive. But where does the journey end? Who knows.
One thing is clear. Everyone has to work together. Everyone has their strength and must use it, to make the most for the group. And a little profit of course. Mining, thaumaturgy, hunting, planning and preparing, trading, and the most important one, fishing.

Competition will start on 18th September. Theme of this competition is Village! This means at least %50 of your hideout needs to be a village. There is one month of time to complete your hideouts, meaning submissions should be made until 18th October. Then our jury team will do the voting, which will take one or two weeks. Shortly after voting ends, winners and runners-up will be announced here. After the announcement, prizes will be awarded and shipped, which you can see below.

Categories:
Both categories will have seperate submissions, voting, winners and prizes.
■ Non-MTX: No MTX hideout bases or decorations are allowed. Meaning hideout bases and decorations %100 should be obtainable in game without spending any currency in the MTX shop. All decorations should come from favor spending(excluding game specific ones like crafting bench, heist locker, etc.).
■ MTX: All MTX hideout bases and decorations are allowed. Creative usage of MTXes are encouraged. All MTX used should be purchasable from the MTX store. Hideout bases, decorations and pets that are not available anymore for purchase(Like Entombed hideout, etc.) are not allowed. Also decorations from Midnight Pack mystery box are not allowed. Usage of a couple MTX decorations at least is also required. Just adding 1-2 MTX decorations to a Non-MTX hideout base won't count. Using an MTX hideout base will count.

Challenge trophies, old benches from before the master update, rhoa dinners or other exclusive non-MTX decorations cannot be used in both categories. Also hideout bases, decorations and pets that cannot be unlocked anymore by normal ways(Like Ritualist's hideout, etc.) are not allowed. These are to create equality amongst competitors.

Schedule:

Name and idea are by Pixxelkick. The inspiration for this event is the show Iron Chef. Like the show, entries must follow a specified theme.

► A video showcasing winning and runner-up hideouts of both categories will be made by guggelhupf. Video will be also posted on r/pathofexile and r/PathOfExile_Hideouts Reddits. Guggelhupf will make these videos by visiting each hideout.

Note: Shipping prizes normally should take 1 month at most, but due to Corona this can even increase up to 2 months. Prizes will be sent with tracking and we will pay the shipping costs. Also, we will send prizes as gift in gift packaging with a note saying "Congratulations for getting 1st/2nd place in Iron Hideout Competition!" to avoid all taxes.

► Brittleknee did 3 hours of showcase/commentary stream of every single entry! You can watch the stream here. She also stated that everyone has her permission to reupload any portion or even all of the highlight video as they want to! For example, if you want to cut out your hideout's part and upload it to your Youtube channel, you have Brittleknee's permission.

► Guggelhupf will be doing weekly videos of all entries submitted each week. These videos will be posted on r/pathofexile and r/PathOfExile_Hideouts Reddits. Guggelhupf will make these videos by visiting each hideout.

■ Your hideout must be your own work.
■ Hideouts submitted must be made after competition start(18th September). We will accept submissions made to recent official hideout competition as an exception to this as long as they fit the theme. You are allowed to modify them as well.
■ Your hideout must be safe to showcase(Nothing against Terms of Service of GGG).
■ Hideouts must fit theme of the competition. This means at least %50 of your hideout needs to be a village.
■ Multiple submissions are welcome! You can also submit hideouts in both Non-MTX and MTX categories. However posting the same hideout to both categories with minimal changes is not allowed.
■ We do weekly videos and also winners' video at the end of the competition. Guggelhupf will visit your hideout to make a video of your hideout. We're doing this for our juries to be able to completely understand hideouts, to prevent graphical tricks can be done on videos, to help people can't do videos and also to have the same understanding and quality of each hideout taking part in the videos. Each recordings will be done on Saturday. To get into rotation for recordings, please write down a time between 10am-10pm(GMT+2) when we can reach you next Saturday for recording your hideout. These Saturdays mean 25th September, 2nd October, 9th October and 16th October. If your profile is set to private, please provide an IGN(In Game Name) or Discord so we can contact you at your given time. Also please login to London[EU] server so all records will have the best ping for showcasing. Note: Depending on how long recordings take for each recording day, we might have to reach you for recording a little later than requested. If this happens, you will be notified in game. Also, If there will be too much recordings to do for a Saturday and they don't finish, remaining ones will be delayed to Sunday. If this happens, you will either be notified in game or with a private message.
■ If you don't show up in recording at given time for the first time, you will be warned with a private message and your recording will be done in the following week. If you don't show up at the second recording too, your submission will be disqualified.
■ Hideouts need to be uploaded to hideoutshowcase.com with the final hideout file of your work. Sharing is part of this competition.
■ Using post template below is required. All required is posting your hideout to hideoutshowcase.com and linking it here, putting an image on top is allowed and lastly answering questions in the template message below.
■ Submissions breaking any of these rules will be disqualified.
