Why do veiled crafts only partially respect metacrafts?
the ambiguity you describe doesn't exist, and your explanation did not "explain it clearly".
You are still acting on the assumption that an empty slot is already tagged as a prefix or suffix, which it is not. It may have to draw from a certain labeled pool of mods known as "prefixes", but while it is empty it is NOT a prefix. The language "prefixes cannot be changed" therefore has no connection or control to the slot to begin with. Adding in "current" is just superfluous and unnecessary. My intent is not necessarily to argue or be belligerent, it is to inform an opinion based on a misconception. Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Sep 4, 2021, 7:19:43 PM

" Hi, i think you do not understand the meaning of the word ambiguity because if such ambiguity did not exist you would literally not be here arguing with people about the wording.. it would be clear because there was no ambiguity.. |

ambiguity stemming from a misunderstanding is not ambiguity...
I could say anything I don't understand is ambiguous because there exists "arguing" or confusion, but that doesn't necessarily make the problem itself ambiguous at all. |

One might say ambiguity is a measure of how prone to misunderstanding something is.
It's funny in semantic arguments when people claim their understanding is 100% factual and objective. As if language could possibly be a vehicle for perfect communication, and not only that, they have perfect knowledge on how to use it that way. Украина в моём сердце

You can craft some great items with this mechanism. If you have 2 wanted t1 prefix already, you can craft "prefixs cannot be changed". Then you go harvest craft something like "reforge with critical modifier". Just make sure that "critical" prefix you want to add is the ONLY "critical" modifier (prefix + suffix) available on that item. This way you can add that one critical prefix for sure. "elusive" on boots. "gain 1 flask charge on critical strike" on belt. These two are the best ones. "elemental attack damage" on belt is also good, but you cannot make sure you can hit t1, unlike those two critical modifiers.
