Need some help with Assassin Storm Brand

After getting 2 void batteries from Gwenn, this is my attempt to make a zoomy build this league. Just reached yellow maps, still haven't die a lot but I think I'm in a bad shape to push through red maps soon.

I'm not following any specific guide.

Yes, it's very fragile - only 3.5k life, with only dodge as "defence" lol.
I'm thinking to scrap the dodge and try to get more DPS by taking frostbite and ass mark, but DPS is still lacking - couldn't even reach 1M shaper >_<


If my goal is to do fast mapping T14-T16 and die occasionally;
1. Any better links for my storm brand?
2. Is it worth to ditch the dodge stuff (acrobatics & phase acrobatics) for slightly more DPS?
3. Any other defence layers I can try?
4. I prefer to use 2 movement skills if I can. Something similar to shield charge + dash. I'm trying frostblink + bodyswap but bodyswap is a terrible idea (lol) as I leave no corpse (frozen) and I will just blink to the packs and relying too much on my luck (dodge).
5. Any other advice/tips for a storm brand build?

Or.. should I just scrap the whole build and do something else with the void battery? >_<'

Hi,

you need to upgrade your gear (lvl 21 stormbrand, + skill crit amulet, watcher´s eye,..)

- upgrade your flasks (you want also shock / curse imunity)

- I would keep dodge passives (it´s your only defense) but you have glass cannon anyway.

Yep, I'll work on the flask and looking into watcher's eye and +1 amulet.


I noticed that most people in poe ninja are using Inpulsa and Storm's gift.
Are both really beneficial in this build?

My question is how does the explody thingy works when I'll be freezing most (if not all) mobs due to high critical chance?

I actually have both of these too, though the Inpulsa is only 5-link. :P

HH is just an extra item you don´t need to care about now.
The most important is the core of your build.

I guess Impulsa / Storm´s are easy to get and good to clear packs (spreading shock effect) but there are better options for bossing.
(Being unaffected by shock is a good defensive thing though).

You can get explosion effect on rare too (+ skills etc).

Yeah, I was thinking something like that too. Even got the Militant Faith (didn't know it's cheap for less useful mods lol).

Probably better with a Thread of hope in that middle jewel slot and get the Heart of Ice and Lightning Walker nodes.

Another thing is I think I NEED the Holy Conquest.
I'm also looking into which medium cluster jewel is more beneficial for me - brand, crit, curse, aura, etc.
