What's the best way to get six red sockets on this sword?
The sword has no requirements so the chrome calc cannot be used. Last bumped on Aug 27, 2021, 11:23:08 AM

" Guessing he means getting 5 red sockets via whatever method you'd like. Then using the non-red to red Harvest craft. To get 5 red sockets you'd probably need to spam whatever the highest guaranteed benchcraft is, IIRC it's 3 red sockets, until you hit 5 red. Need game info? " For the one that Nubatack mentioned: SEED = Reveals a random Socket colour crafting effect when Harvested CRAFT = Reforge the colour of a non-Red socket on an item, turning it Red To help you get to 5 red, there are a few other Harvest crafts you may be interested in, also under the same seed: Reforge the colour of two random sockets on an item, turning them Red and Blue Reforge the colour of two random sockets on an item, turning them Red and Green Reforge the colour of three random sockets on an item, turning them Red, Blue and Green Need game info? " 3x colour is rarely worth it. Item with no requirements has 14 str 14 dex 14 int requirements as i remember. Easiest way to get 5 red should be by just using chromatic orbs - only 56 average. Chroming calculator. Non-red to red from harvest sells for about 50c |

Or you can go the traditional way: spend 25 chromes and 500-1500 jeweler's orbs by coloring one socket at a time, using crafting bench. Most of this cost is last socket, where you have 33% chance to get a red socket, and it costs 350+70 jewelers per try. If you use harvest non-red to red for last socket, might be more cost effective.
