Large Monster Packs Causing Fps Drops

Sometimes when I'm doing the league content (Expedition) (especially when a monster pack spawns of the detonation) my fps drops so hard that my game freeze for 2-3 seconds multiple times, so because of this a possible solution for the problem could be:

1. An option that hide (don't render) the weakest monsters in the pack, only render the strongest monsters in the pack, create a "circle" around them/him with a glow (or another) effect that show how large the monster pack is, so the player will know that there is a monster pack around the strongest monster of the pack and theoretically will not have the fps drops.

Example 1

2. An option Low in Texture Quality Settings. (Decreasing the VRAM usage)

3. An option that uses LOD (Level of Detail) for maintaining the level of details at close distances, but decreases the LOD as we are away from the items dropped on the ground, monster corpses and monster packs. (I think that this can improve the game performance in general)

4. A max value to quantity the amount of things that are rendered, especially items on the ground, monster corpses and large monster packs, in the case of the items will still exists but most of them will not render, (remaining items = max value - amount of items, if the amount of items is great than max value of rendered objects then don't render the remaining items) the player can pick the item but can't see it on the ground.

The PC that I have, can handle the game very well, most of the time running at 60 fps constantly.

If you have another suggestion or solution for that problem, please comment on that post. :)

Thanks for giving your time to read my post, have a good day. :)

What performance were you expecting running integrated graphics?
Also, nowadays 60 fps is the equivelent of 30 10 years ago, it's average at best, which is to be expected from a set up like that.
Also, any ryzen CPU, especially APU, requires equally good RAM.
You shouldn't be throwing around suggestions how to improve performance for systems that are not even meant for heavy gaming to begin with. It's like walking into a bank with a rubber dildo expecting guards to put away their guns so you can attempt to rob the place.
No rest for the wicked.

My mate @Daiena I don't know why you have to comment on a post with a toxic reply..If you don't have anything nice to say to someone just don't say anything.

As long as OP PC Specs meet the minimum requirements I think he has a right to want to improve the performance and ask others for help.

Well with regards to OP post, I too have seen some FPS drops with Expedition explosions. The thing is it isn't always there for me and after tinkering with the graphical settings it seem to be better. I can't say whether it is someting with the engine or with my PC.

My Specs :
CPU : i7 9700 4.5GHZ
GPU : RTX 2080 Super
RAM : DDR4 16 GB at 2666MHZ
POE : Installed on Samsung EVO SSD

I understand your point @Daiena, but for me playing on 60 fps is enough (my setup can run PoE at 60 fps constantly having few variations to 40-50 fps rarely), the problem here is the massive fps drop when there is large amounts of monsters on screen (especially in expedition explosions), knowing that, would be great if we exiles have more options to improve the performance or make them more stable. (that is good for the game)

Thanks for your reply. :)

Seems like the game render too many things that at one point you will have fps drops regardless of your setup (especially in juiced maps, where are thousands of items dropped on the ground, monster corpses and large monster packs).

That is because the game doesn't have performance options to avoid this, like a max value to render items on the ground, monster corpses and large monster packs. Would be great if most of them will stop rendering after a certain quantity. (in the case of the items dropped on the ground would be good if there have a way that you can pick the item, but not see it on the ground)

Thanks for your reply. :D

It's so sad that a game with that potential is having so many troubles, I really hope that next league at least they try to fix all the issues that they can, I will not be mad if they took 1 month without developing the next league and focus on repairing all theses client/server side errors.

thx for your reply, have a good day. :)
