Shield Crush with + to Melee strike

Shield crush don't work with +2 melee strike? it's a melee skill.
Can you tell me why please?

Shield Crush is a melee attack dealing area damage like Sweep (in a cone like shape with your character in the center).

Those attacks normally don't scale with Melee Strike Range. The "range" can be increased with normal AoE scaling (e.g. Increased Area of Effect).

Exceptions like Cyclone explicitly state this in the skill description.
