Timing, timing, timing; Gold Flasks in Delve.

So we have these nifty new Gold Flasks, but when should I use them in Delve?

That is, when does the check for delve loot actually occur? During the Loot-splosion, or while I'm killing monsters on the way to the node?

Can I get any benefit using it just after the loot-splosion starts, or do I have to preemptively use it as I kill the mob that ends the node encounter?

Pretty sure its when your killing monsters on the way, the cart just "collects" loot as you progress through then dumps it all at the end.

I’ve always assumed it was when you killed monsters. It doesn’t hurt to do both though.

This is how I understand it to work too. The items are generated as you kill the mobs (like normal), and are collected by the crawler until you complete the run, at which time they all shower onto the floor. And if that's the case, the rarity would already have been determined at the time of the killing, not at the end of the run. So you would want the flask active as you're killing the mobs.

Any items dropped from monsters within a large radius around the Crawler.
