High ping and spikes in an instance (#165 030 068)

In hideout and up till now everything was relatively smooth, ~45ms, this one map instance gives me fluctuating ping (100-300ms) and lag spikes.

Don't get bug report numbers for Latency. Latency is NOT a bug.
You are seeing packet loss at that starts at your 6th hop and carries forward. That is why you are seeing the jumps. Send your MTR trace to your ISP. Tell them you are seeing packet loss that starts at your 6th hop and that it's affecting your ability to do what you want to online. If this isn't within their range, which it look like it isn't, have them forward this up the chain to see if something can be done. Totally random and for multiples minutes. Lost 2 maps (crash instance or whatever), lost XP too. |
