Sirus fight is still terrible
|
He's still visually spammy and teleports around off screen for some insane reason. Who thought that this is something reasonable.

Ever since they 'fixed a bug' that prevented Sirus from using some of his skills in teh final phase, he's just spamming them non-stop and spends 75% of his time being invulnerable.
It's just a terrible waste of the players' time. |

Syrup needs a memory game, doors, benches and splinters

Sirus is now bad - was awful before
the truly awful boss is now Maven and its 10 invitation system. I dont know how they manage to make bosses worse and worse. |

He's just punishing to less mobile builds that have to stand still to deal damage, like every other boss in the game. DoT/minion builds do really well against them, anywhere where u can just focus on avoiding stuff and still have good dps uptime.

" Nah. At least with Maven's crucible, you're guaranteed a reward that is her splinters. Her writ is worth an exalt and running a couple crucibles will get you one. Watchstones are just the icing on the cake. You can't guarantee you'll get anything from Sirus except garbage. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! " If you think from a non-trading perspective, Sirus has some of the best drops in the game - Crown of inward eye & thread of hope are some of the most versatile uniques ever created, Saviour is also pretty cool and build-enabling. Maven on the other hand has maven's orb and maybe viridi's veil. Maven's orb can be really good for crafting but its a 50/50 chance of failure & requires you to have a very good item to craft upon. Elevated sextants are cool, but not as useful as unique watchstones imo. Last edited by stalkingjackal#2441 on Aug 11, 2021, 6:04:47 PM

" Inward Eye is a niche choice for certain builds. Thread of Hope? Good luck getting one with the radius size you need. Saviour? Good luck finding that. SSF? Don't care about that masochistic nightmare. At least Maven's crucible encounters drop writ splinters which you can sell for currency to buy stuff you need, and it's 100% a guaranteed drop. You get more the harder you modded the encounter. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

you can divine thread of hope its not that bad, Sirus loot is decent the awakening gem nerf was the biggest issue.

Yeah well if you equate everything to raw currency value then its a different scenario, the trading value is not 1:1 with the actual usefulness of the item & is largely dictated by the current meta. I just feel this is not a healthy way of looking at items, and causes discontent among players who feel like they're not getting rewarded for playing.
