Favorite Builds so Far

We aren't very far into the league yet but that doesn't mean some of us haven't tried out different stuff, so what are some of your favorites builds for this league and it's mechanic.

Me personally nothing has connected yet but until I hit the wall I was enjoying lightning strike deadeye.

As i'm developing it i'm liking boneshatter more and more, confident i'll be able to do guardians with it but past that it'll be see how much additional development i can get done.

Most of the easy dps is already there so might start to struggle

Using holy relic which has been fun enough this league. Aoe nicely covers the explosion radius.
Siege ballistas might have been fun this league, or any totem.

Loving the hell out of my Smite Raider. Why hasn't anyone told me that Smite is fun as hell?

3. Cyclone impale in legion (it was not melee, but it was fun)
1. Spellslinger flame wall(dead even on 5000mirror budget) in ritual
2. Facebreaking dominating blow before the nerfs (5-6 years ago???)
4. Righterous fire (before the nerfs)


That is it, i did not enjoy any other build, not even 349492492dps minions, no instant killing mines. These 4 really did it.


4. Because i did not have to stop to cast, it was tanky and expensive to min max
2. it was cheap and extreme fun to level, the only fun leveling i ever had in poe
1. it was good at leveling quick and really fun in end game, league allowed to min-max gear so it is league I've spend the LONGEST but chris will tell you how "reward makes ppl quit" :^DDD you would turn half the map in to your army and just smash boss 300vs1
3. It was melee rework, but it really was just cyclone overbuff, I had actually little fun playing it but it was fun to gear it up with items that no longer can be made.

I tried the slam totem thing and was underwhelmed. If each totem could explode the others' earthshatter, I'd be more intrigued.

Then I tried phys trapper which was good but ended up being a little too active of a playstyle for me.

Now, I'm going to throw it way back with a dual strike raider with bloodseekers.

Please stop this thread immediately!

GGG will pay attention and may be STALKING this thread! If you like a build or have a favorite one, it will probably be totally destroyed next league !!

I wanted to try something with Eye of Winter because Frozen Orb was my jam back in D2 days. So I’m doing totems for the first time and struggling hard with dps. Can’t 6 link my Soul Mantle for the life of me, so running it with 5 and having a hard time with conquerors and runic monsters (holy cow). But I just attempted Sirus A5 for the first time and crushed him. Seemed way easier than some of the maps I’ve been doing. Anyways, Eye of Winter totems is a pretty fun build.

I usually clear all content every league, get 40/40, and help people with challenges. This league is very humbling to say the least.

You have alot to choose from this league.

You can choose to play Spectral Shield Throw. Both gladiator and raider seems to be good.
You can also try Forbidden Rites Totems. That build can clear T16 on a 1-link item which seems balanced for a new skill.
Raise spectre also seems to be a very strong build this league.
Some people are playing Toxic Rain/Caustic Arrows aswell

Yeah, those 4 builds cover about 60% of the entire playerbase right now.

Everything else is still playable, but you're doing yourself a diservice by not playing any of the 4 above skills.

You can try and be Grimro and build a Tornado Shot character for 200 ex this league that needs 30 sec to kill Metamorphs.
Or you can just run a 30 chaos Forbidden Rites Totem build and do more dps and be more tanky than Grimro's Headhunter Tornado Shot build.
