Keyboard not working

After starting PoE the keyboard stops working completely since the last patch.
I was able to play normally yesterday.

Around a second after starting the game the keyboard doesn't react to anything anymore. It wouldn't even toggle the lights for NumLock or CapsLock any more when pressing the keys.
As soon as I exit the game everything works again.

The keyboard can't be used in other applications as well while the game runs.
I've tried another keyboard and switching USB-Ports, but the behavior is the same.

I've tried the standalone and the steam version. It happens on both of them.
There are no entries in the eventvwr.msc that I could identify as somewhat related.

I've tried compatibility modes, but didn't help either. No other PoE related programs or overlays (like Discord) are running.

Please fix it, this is the first weekend since launch that I could really play more. If I can help in any way to solve this, please tell me how (I'm a programmer myself).

Edit: I tried a complete reinstall of the game, but that didn't help either (as I was expecting as it happens on both clients).
Same for uninstalling keyboard drivers. Same behavior after a restart.
Starting as Administrator or switching Graphics Engine doesn't help (as suggested in other threads).

Updated initial post with more information about what I tried.

Question: What sort of keyboard?
Some/most mid/high end keyboards have drivers and ability to create custom profiles for different games, if you have one, there is a chance you have by accident created a dysfunctional/broken keyboard profile for PoE.
I had this with my mouse once by accident, and poe profile DPI would automatically force switch so low i would have to drag my mouse across my pad around 20 times to move from one side of the screen to the other.

Nothing special, normal 10€ office keyboards. I've talked to some people on discord that suggested the same.
I wrote my own profile for PoE, but I need to start it manually and it doesn't run. As stated above I installed all keyboard drivers already, too.

I've also stopped all software except drivers and AntiVirus (Windows Defender) and even uninstalled a bunch of PoE related stuff.

If it doesn't help I guess I'll reinstall windows and hope it's gone afterwards :-(

Bump. I've checked all the logs I could find, but nothing special in there :-(

I've reinstalled Windows 10 today and only installed a browser and PoE. The keyboard is still not working.

I literally can't play the game for days now and the Devs don't care one bit.

Considering that this is a rather unique issue, what do you want them to do? Mail a new computer? send a technician to your house?

Considering that I've invested hundreds of euros in the game and the latest patch broke it there seems to be something they can do.
I'm a programmer myself. There are debugging levels you can activate, or see something in the code. It must be a recent change, so that could narrow it down.

If you can't contribute anything of value, why don't write on Reddit?

For the past week or 2 just in Path of Exile buttons like Del and End stopped working as well. Using chat is awkward. Might be related.

Update: Overwollf with PoE-Overlay had DEL and END set for use and somehow it locked them out. What I do not understand, that this was not an issue for the past 1 year until now. Might be Overwolf/PoE-Overlay fault.

Also experiencing issues with my brand new Lenovo P1 Gen 7 inbuilt laptop keyboard. Unfortunately, mine is the 'S' key. You have to hit it twice. It will not register immediately. Needs 1s in between pressing a key before hand. No issues prior to Xmas, only issues after. It will also impact other Windows apps - whilst the game is open (eg; typing in a browser tab) Fixes itself after closing PoE2. Comes and goes.. inside maps it stops working, but when in the hideout it will fix itself.
