Please remove all MTX IMPAIRING SKILL / BUFF EFFECTS!!!!

Good afternoon.

TLDR:I should be able to TURN OFF Everything that over-rides/hauls my MTX.

I don't feel compelled to buy any MTX when I know that the build I'm going for is using Plague Bearer or has permanent phasing (from any source). Steelskin is another great example.

I want to be able to permanently disable anything that visually impairs my character as its just not fun for me to use, moreso, it makes me hate the current build I'm using. Plague bearer in itself is enough to deter me from playing a build at this point as it's so visually dominant it just ruins everything. Phasing is even worse and much more aggressive in terms of visuals.

MTX is used to customize my character to look as I feel when I play it, I want to experience that and not just see a random collection of effects that just flat out ruin that completely.

A suggestion from me would be perhaps in the customization panel you could have a list of active effects with a tick box and you can just actively remove everything you don't want to see. That's what I would love to see. Basically I want control over everything that is visually impacting my character.

EDIT: I am aware of Invisible Buff MTX, sadly this does not solve any of the issues mentioned above, which is why I made this post.

I agree, there should be some way to turn off buff effects that totally change your character visually.

GGG alrdy thought about that and you know what? There is an MTX for this ;D

Invisible buff Effect it is called. I think it is not working with every effect, but it out there, for real bucks. And it's on sale, so don't hold back to get your less effective version of your char today.

This does not work with Phasing, Steelskin, or Plaguebearer. So no, the current Invisible Buff Effect MTX does not solve any of the issues stated above

I've got to agree with you on this. If I buy MTX, I do it because I want my character to look better - that is the entire point! GGG has recently fixed the Raider Ascendancy (forgot what it's called), which also applied a permanent phasing effect on you but thankfully it's gone now.

However, there's still plenty of annoying effects that need to be "fixed", just like you mentioned. When I buy MTX, I want to SEE the results of my purchase. I bought this Invisible Buff effect a few days ago and it does not remove phasing effects such as cat's stealth and more.

I agree with OP. I'd feel a lot more motivated to buy MTX if I could actually see my character while playing.
