no witnesses does not proc

No witnesses notable (10% chance to gain elusive on kill) does not proc ever.
Fix this ASAP, i saw threads about this from summer 2020. This is unacceptable like this. Best decision on my part that i stopped supporting GGG a year ago as none of these issues are fixed in time if at all, but we get the 10120100th fancy microtransaction. Last bumped on Aug 2, 2021, 8:54:32 PM

" yes people report this "bug" often because they have no idea how the game works, but that does not prevent them from being entitled and arrogant on top of that, they dont provide any specific details about their issue other than some pointless statements that something "does not work" so the report is absolutely useless. so we can only guess about the issue, like someone trying to gain buffs from hits and kills of different entities, like totems, traps, mines, or even minions.. " Thanks for your report, are you the one dealing the killing blow? If you're using Mines/Traps/Minions to deal the killing blow then this will not proc. | |
" I use mines. There is nothing that says that if a mine, trap, totem, whatever gets the kill, then it is not counted as a kill. If it is not meant to be working with mines, then at least please extend the wording to state this clearly. Especielly that any on hit effect is applied to me with mines, why do on kill effects not work the same way? |

The mines benefit, not you.
Just like if you have life gained on hit, this doesn't do anything to you if your attacks are delivered through mines. It's the same reason you don't take reflected damage when your mines hit something that reflects damage. |

I always find posts that describe an issue that you would expect to be work (especially if you're new) because nothing says it doesn't. Understandable to a degree, as PoE has such an incredible amount of complicated mechanics.
I wish there was an easy answer to it. The best thing I can think of is including information in the detailed descriptions. Things like this make new players have difficulty in many stages of the game. There are still skills that show gems are supporting it in the tooltip and the skill picture but in fact have no effect at all. |
