Interviewing yourself is some next level forum-ing.

Is it though? Asking for a friend.

I like a good AMA but oh it's kind of painful when they backfire. You gotta know when people actually do want to ask you something you'd want to answer. I do wonder how many PR people have been fired over an ill-calculated AMA.

I feel like I should say something on topic. Making the most of something is a pretty personal experience. You can try to share it but usually the only people who will benefit from someone else's method are those who both don't have their own and want one. PoE has people for this service: they're called streamers.

And they typically don't use a relatively dead medium like a forum to share that method.

I feel like the word foruming describes lowly mortal forum dwellers where few people actually care about your opinion, let alone want to pick your brain about something. Since it's not a real word, I am clearly standing on solid ground with that definition.

It's not the opinion that makes it next level egocentric, it's the format. Let me put it this....

Do I think AMAs are always shallow and uselesss?
Thanks for asking. No, no I don't.

Are there normal forum level people that could use this format effectively?
Also nope.

But what if a Chris Wilson used this format? Wouldn't that work?
Yes, but Chris Wilson isn't a lowly forum townie either.

Is the OP at the level of Chris Wilson with respect to POE?
I think they believe they are. But nope. There are people that actually care what Chris Wilson says and thinks with respect to POE, which is an important distinction.

Do I feel more important using this format?
Nope. I feel like a.....well never mind.

It's probably closer to 50-70, but that's a pretty fixed fee to play it painlessly for the lifetime of the game. Seems like a good deal for a game where the developer has been active on it for 10 years, and shows no signs of stopping any time soon.
Thanks for all the fish!
It is not free-to-play you are the alpha tester of each leaque (pay with lifetime) and GGG thus saves resources as many testers (QC) are not needed.

That certainly works for Facebook.

I think that GGG's $50 million in 2020 profit tells a different story since players are spending actual money and not just giving up personal data.
