How I've been making the most out of PoE and Expedition.

I'm gonna share with the community my experience with Expedition, and how I've made the most out of it so far.

1) Why are you playing PoE?
Because it doesn't cost me anything (it's Free to Play).

2) Why are you not playing another game?
Because it's as "fun" for me as any other game on the market.

3) Why did you not buy an Expedition support pack?
65-70% due to lack of proper and rewarding (competitive) events happening, and the rest 25-30% due to poor game/skill balancing. In other words GGG would've had 25-30% higher chance to make me spend $ by not releasing new skills. Further, they were quick on buffing (patching) weak skills, as well as making the game easier, but the nerf to certain skills never happened.

4) Speaking about nerfs did you like the 3.15 nerfs?
What nerfs? Players still got to 90 in SSF HC within 12-13 hours of league start, and reached 100 within less than a week. When others stop caring and paying attention on who's rank #1 in EXP and Delve the game clearly has issues.

5) What's your opinion on Battle Royale?
Never played it and never will, not when it's RNG based. What I mean by RNG based, if others are getting progress by killing "scrubs" (and get stronger in the process) then it becomes much harder to kill someone that's already "boosted" by just being "lucky" encountering weaker players through the match. Personally, Battle Royale is a far less fun genre for me, which is why I am here in first place and not elsewhere.

In eight years I would expect whoever is in charge, and working on skill balance to do their job, and if they don't to do what's necessary. As I stated in one my threads from nearly a month ago I strongly believe (from my EXP) that GGG is not the company Path of Exile needs, at least not for me. At this point the game would be in a much better shape to scrap SSF and HC trade, and instead to feature three clearly distinct leagues.

1) Softcore trade
2) SSF HC
3) Gauntlet (that emulates the Gauntlet event)

Softcore trade for grouping and personal challenges. SSF HC the next entry level for those who aren't rdy for Gauntlet, but still want to compete with others. Gauntlet (elite type of league) where veterans (the best of PoE) are playing and competing, either for EXP, Delve, boss kills or all.

Dude it is already worse enough that HC Trade lost players because of this SSF bullshit but now you want to take it away entirely?

Hi @Reinhart, it's been a while :)

To respond to your question, "SSF BS"?

Softcore trade already offers HC trade feature. If you want to trade you can, and if/when you RIP you can always start a new character.

Why are you showing no challenges then?

The thing is that HC Trade existed since closed beta. You can not simply delete it.

Beside similar reasoning applied as yours can let me say that you can play SSF in standard as well. Just dont trade or group up.

So, how have you?
Your post does not fit the headline.
The headline to your post would be:
"Faux-AMA and what I think the game needs".

Is it an FAQ if the person frequently asking is oneself?

Hmmmm. I have often wondered this.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.
Criticizing a BR for being RNG based seems weird.
