This ain't it chief. 3.13 was the most fun I've had and I want to go back

I want to start by saying I'm all in for making the game slower by tuning down the top end of builds, as someone who each league reaches a point of deleting endgame bosses in mere seconds.

But this is not it.

What your build diversity efforts have done is simply deleted many of my builds from the game, simply because they don't meet the new required defence and damage tresholds. The campaign isn't any harder with these changes, it just became more tedious. Getting freeze or stunlocked to death isn't fun. I already hated the campaign before and spending 1 more hour before I get to the part I enjoy simply sucks.

What you've done is slowed down the players without slowing down your game. Enemies can still balloon out of control if you get unlucky with monster affixes. Red beasts with regen and boss heals from Maven are simple dps checks you cannot outplay with player skill. A good example I had this league was an accidental prophecy ghosted Piety that managed to 2 shot me from the other side of the screen with her automatic targeting arc skill. All I could do is run and offscreen her. She was the map boss of a Veritania citadel, who was also ghosted. I managed to kill Veritania deathless because she is a boss you can still beat with skill, even if the odds are stacked against you.

If you want to make your game slower and combat more meaningful, we need more bosses like Veritania and the other Conquerors.

And to address the actual title, I'm a crafter by heart so Harvest and by extension Ritual with the revamped Harvest was the most fun I have ever had in Path of Exile. I have never seen so many guild mates online at the same time as we had back in Ritual and we still had people playing 2 months into the league. In 3.15, a few days from launch the guild is now empty, no one is playing anymore.

Harvest back in Ritual league is the game I want to play, I want to be able to work towards item goals I know I'll reach eventually. I want to craft items for builds that would not work without those items. I want to craft cool items for other players (and to sell for profit). It took me a week to craft a single item back in Ritual for my build, that is more time spent on one item than I played during all of Expedition. I was having fun. I am not having fun anymore.

I haven't seen a single Augment craft from Harvest in the past 2 leagues. What you've essentially done is removed Harvest from the game. It's now only a more targeted fossil craft on some items with the occasional T3 craft. I haven't seen any T4 seeds either. Crafting items simply takes more time now, is spending a week on one item not long enough?

It also feels horrible fighting insanely hard T3 monsters (Blisterlords) without getting a single craft from them, and it feels even worse when it happens multiple times in a row.

I would like to see T3 seeds actually reward their crafts 100% of the time. I would like to see Augments more than once every 3 leagues. I would like to fight T4 bosses and Oshabi even once a year. These rates for Harvest as they are in the game are terrible. Remove the Harvest Watchstone modifiers and Maven passives as those seem to be an issue and simply buff Harvest as a baseline, you can even make it more rare to encounter.

It should feel great to find a Harvest, as it stands it feels like someone already entered before you and took all the good stuff and all you're left with is the scraps. That's also the feeling I get from Expedition league as a whole.

Yes. So unfortunate that GGG fail to realize it was the best PoE there ever was. Just when I thought "they finally got it nailed" they pull a 180° and destroy all the good stuff they made.
my feelings too, i want top end brought down a bit, but current balance is brutal in SSF, it feels like barely anything is viable anymore to get started with.

3.11 was such a good time.

I'd take 3.11 or 3.13 over this sorry excuse for a patch any day.
Nothing will change, I've quit PoE for good.

Waiting on D2R beta this month. I play these types of games to relax, not to feel like I have another job I can't stand.

It's incredible how many people share the same experience as the original post.

Why isn't GGG giving a response to this large group of players (possibly, even the majority of players)?

Isn't it bizarre not to have any dialogue with GGG after weeks of similar complaints?
