Anointment help

So I play a cyclone pure physical axe with crits and was wondering what anointment would be better to beef up my character. When I was searching the wiki the 2 results that I thought were the best for crit damage was Assassination and Disemboweling. I'm guessing that cyclone counts as a melee attack and so is Disemboweling better or is there a hidden mechanic or something that makes it worse? Please help me choose and thanks!

Nothing hidden, per se, just the usual economics of game design:

• You can't allocate passives on the passive tree more than once
• Modifiers that don't specify within a category (such as Melee or Not Melee) apply to all members of that category

Therefore, the situations where anointing Disemboweling is better are where both:
1. You only care about Melee DPS, not Spell DPS
2. You have not yet allocated Disemboweling with a passive skill point or an anointed Unique

Anointing Assassination becomes more attractive, conversely, when one or the other applies:
1. You care about both Attack DPS and Spell DPS
2. You have already allocated Disemboweling with a passive skill point or an anointed Unique
