placement of jewels in passive skill tree

I'm honestly quite confused because you should be able to insert the jewel into the socket just fine, based on what you described.

Just throwing random ideas out there - is it possible you've mixed up left click and right click?? I have a few friends who are directionally challenged. Maybe give "right click" a try (left click is the correct usage... maybe you're using a left-handed mouse though?)

unfortunately with computer science sometimes happen incomprehensible problems. thank you for the attention that has been dedicated to me. greetings

I had a small issue with this when first trying to use a jewel passisve. I selected the jewel node, then tried to drop the jewel in, didn't work. Issue was needing to select the socket passive, confirm the selection and so actually spend the passive point, and then I could freely take jewels in & out of it.

Aha, I had missed the "Apply Points" button in the screenshot.

Yes, you need to allocate the empty jewel socket first, and then you can socket jewels inside it.

problem solved. correct procedure:
1) select the jewel node
2) Press the "apply points" button
3) insert the jewel into the socket.
