placement of jewels in passive skill tree

I spend passive points to reach a jewel socket in the passive skill tree, then I spend 1 additional passive point to unlock the jewel socket. Now the jewel socket is unlocked (it has the edge lit) but it’s impossible to put a jewel in the socket. I tried with several sockets and with different jewels, with the same disappointing result. Any ideas to solve the problem? Thanks

please be more specific. just saying something "does not work" is not enough

Are you trying to put a Cluster Jewel in there? Those can only socket in the outermost sockets in the tree. Otherwise I'd guess what you think is a jewel is not a jewel. Amulets and rings sometimes look like jewels, and gems are very different from jewels.

I try to put in a socket with the written BASIC JEWEL SOCKET (which is in a circle with 2 "+10 to dexterity") the following jewels:
• COBALT JEWEL OF COMBUSTING (blue)
• SURVIVAL SECRETS - COBALT JEWEL (orange)
• ARCTIC VIRIDIAN JEWEL (blue)
• LOATH SOLACE - CRIMSON JEWEL (yellow)

is exactly what I do: P + I + left click on jewel + left click on socket. but it is not possible to insert the jewel in the socket. That’s what I don’t understand

This forum is old website design, so GGG doesn't host your images for you. You'll need to upload to an image hosting site such as https://imgur.com/ or https://postimages.org/. Once the image is uploaded, you can share the URL to the image and/or put the URL for the image file itself (ending in, for example, ".png") within the img tags.
