Alternative movement skill gems? I'm trying to run trials in the new game version

Everything in the map trials was designed to keep me slowed. Lost too much xp already but figured I'd ask for help before proceeding. I use a wand and if I understand correctly, I can't use slams.

Are there alternative movement skills that will not have me walking a few seconds before they can be used again?

I understand movement skills share a cooldown but are there similar skills that will have a similar effect that I can use in-between?

Also, why am I taking damage jumping over the spinny things on the ground in Trial of Lingering Pain? I'm not touching it and teleporting past it.

Flame dash has extra charges, and second wind can add more, so you can use it more frequently than frostblink. Shield charge I think has no cooldown, so might be usable in addition to the shared cd ones. Don't know about what other skills there might be, I'm only new as well, but I believe some of the dash/charge/blink/leap type skills involve you teleporting, and some involve you running. So teleport, e.g. frostblink, means you won't take damage doing it through a spinner. But running, e.g. shield charge, means the spinner will hit you.
Lightning Warp sounds like the only skill to do what you want, and that needs a serious overhaul before being viable imo.
