Are Physical Bow Skills In A Bad Place?

Apart from Puncture, I feel like a lot of these skills deserved a buff. I never play bleed so I'm not sure how Bleed Boi Gladiators are after this patch + the Elder mod nerf from last patch.

I league started going back and forth with Split Arrow, Frenzy, Tornado Shot and RoA and they all feel awful and struggle to clear T1/T2 maps on a 5L. Bosses mostly I mean, but lets not talk about some of the Expedition mobs.

Split Arrow got some atk speed buff but it doesn't seem to do anything. Everything I read on (older) guides all seem to say the same thing; it's only a skill to use for clear with bleeds.

Everything I read about Frenzy is that it's not meant for bossing and only a utility no matter how many charges you stack.

Most of the stuff I've come across regarding Tornado Shot is that it's only a powerhouse to clear and to make it single target viable needs insane investment on the level of aura stackers. That was pre-3.15 as well.

Rain of Arrows feels ok for clear but again, it's awful on bosses. I saw some shenanigans on Reddit with -99% AoE but the whole build seems beyond convoluted, expensive AF and gimmicky.

I know Barrage exists and got a slight tiny buff in Expedition but the things that seriously irks me about "Ice Shot builds" or *insert X or Y skill* guide is that they then tend to say "swap to Barrage for bosses" \(-__-)/
I'd rather just use Barrage Support instead of lvl up different gems and feeling like I'm playing a different build 50% of the time.

Lightning Arrow got a buff, Explosive Arrow did as well, Ice Shot and Ele Hit remained the same. I don't really want to play EH again but it looks like it outclasses every other bow skill?

Am I missing something about all the phys skills? I know there is Impale Support but that was nerfed 3 ways from Sunday and requires a bit of tree investment in other areas. Because even pre-Expedition I was destroying stuff with EH and I didn't need a Xoph's Blood/AoF to do T1 maps.

I want to like Frenzy and Tornado Shot especially but not in a mood to struggle more, on top of all the other nerfs this patch.

Ele hit seems to be strong this league. I'd like to see ensnaring shot build for bleed as it makes mobs count as moving and has high dmg effectiveness, i always thought it'd work for it but i dont play bowbuilds really.

Tornado shot is good with accuracy stacking and dmg conversion (so ive heard).

All the skills seems to need pretty heavy investment to work.

Forgot about Ensnaring Arrow. It does appear to have decent dmg effectiveness so I'm not sure why I've always read it's used for support/utility only.

Regarding TS dmg conversion; I know Hatred is the strongest aura but again, that makes it an ele skill and blurs the lines between it and Ice Shot. I'd have to respec out of Slayer phys reflect immunity which is nice to have.

Oh ya, no doubt they all take insane investment, but my point was that at least Ele Hit still apparently feels very good. I'm scared to invest in something else and it still ends up awful.
I've been running bleed bow builds for the past few leagues but alas it seems the nerf to Elder bow seems to have put it back to a mediocre setup with too much messing around with different setups.

I run Siege Ballista + Assailum/Snipe with Puncture + Ensnaring arrow for bosses or difficult rares (theres a lot more now with the league mechanic).

When I finally got the currency to buy a bleed elder bow I found out it was nerfed whilst I was afk.

Now I am wondering how to replace the lost damage. I read that we need at least 200% bleed multiplier and there is no way I can get that even if I fill all items.

I am quite literally thinking of ditching it and going with an ele-conversion build or running poison instead with Toxic Rain and possible Scourge arrow for single target. Not sure of the numbers but it used to be pretty good and the word on the street is it's a good league starter.
Crit is hard to come by tho. I played ele hit in the past but it would have felt shit with current balance. It would still clear on a strong 6L but I'm not sure about the single target. I think you need a double single target setup for big bosses (balisa and something with barrage main or support)

Then for bleed or pure phys, I think deadeye is still pretty good there but it would require some big investment as well. The nerf to diamond flask is digusting, those are pretty stretched build with low life % and nothing in the ascendancy helps on the crit side either.
