Game consistently crashing with gpu failure ?

so ive been having crashes at random times dont really seem triggered by anything going on in game. currently i have my settings turned down some 1080p 80 capped fps etc and sometimes still getting it. ive tried updating everything as well as unplugging gpu cleaning and reseating. i have a evga 1080ti and a ryzen 7 3800 xt. a few times ill get this error on the linked image sometimes it just becomes kinda pixelated then eventually closes and sometimes it crashes so hard my pc resets completely. please help.

also i tried the "optimized" settings in the geforce app and that was crashing it at the start menu before i could even click my character

This exact same thing has been happening to me as well, constantly crashing.

Occasionally I will be able to make it maybe 10 minutes without a problem but most of the time every few minutes, completely randomly the game will crash and sometimes I get that same error. From my F1 readings before the crash it seems to show the CPU is under heavy stress, not the GPU despite the error message. I will do a big expedition event, lots of monsters and spells - get through it just fine and then maybe 10-15 seconds after everything is over the game stutters and then crashes just while I am picking up items.

ive definitely never had this problem in any other games either. the 1080 TI is a little older but its still a very beefy card. ive ran brand new pretty high graphic intensive games on almost maxed on a 1440 p monitor

yep, same here. Getting the same error. Sometimes it just crashes and it doesn't even show the error. (3070TI)

when it freezes will it get like green pixelated squares like an old VHS?
