"Damage with life cost skills" - does not apply to all skills that cost life

righteous fire costs life, the passives don't seem to increase RF damage.

is this intended since RF technically burns you ? in general it does however cost life as dot.

RF doesn't have a cost (like none at all) you are degening hp that is true but it does not "cost" life to use it.

yeah it "burns" 20% of life and es per second. thats the cost.

that's not a cost, that's an "effect".

It costs nothing to use RF, if you had 0 life you could still cast it.

I have same question related to this post which is does increased damage with skills that cost life work with life mastery (skills cost life instead of 30% of mana cost)? it should work because it show on skill UI cost life and mana or it need specifically skills that cost life in gem description
