Are you talking to me? It's hard to tell when you don't quote.

If you are, then I'll assume your logic or reading comprehension are zero and give up on you unless you demonstrate a sudden grasp of either in another post.

My example was working at 3 different auto-parts stores, owned by different companies, with (here's the important part) different company policies.

You replied with "As a CM (community moderator) one of your main tasks is moderng (your typo, not mine) forums". That's like trying to engage me on my above different auto parts stores examples by saying "as a cashier, one of your main tasks is taking cash".

Yes, CMs are community moderators, regardless of the forum they're in. However, different companies have different company policies. Just because Bioware or whatever other company you said you were a CM for had a specific rule set for their CMs doesn't mean GGG has that rule set here.

Now that I've spelled it out instead of trying to use a (fairly easily followed in my opinion) example, do you understand what I'm talking about? Or will you just come back and tell me I don't know what I'm talking about and that moderators moderate or some other redundant and irrelevant piece of info?

CM = Community Manager ... not Community Moderator

And policies dont matter. Every CM is automatically a forum moderator. A paid one. The other moderators are just volunteers. Not paid.

In fact, it's the CM's job to find voluntary forum moderators.

I've been on the internets for some time now and have never heard of this rule. I've seen plenty of idiots reply to a post 3 or 4 posts up and not quote, that makes it hard as hell to figure out what's going on. Plus, in the event of a busy thread, how do you know you'll be replying to the last post by the time you're done with your post? Maybe 3 more people posted while you were typing.

But then again, that line of thinking would take logic. I think we're well on our way to establishing that isn't very present in this thread. :-P

Im confused. Our mods are volunteer players and I wouldn't call them community anything. GGG wouldn't tell them secrets because of the fact that they are players. That would make no sense whatsoever. Don't see any reason why they can't troll. Fuck the devs trolled on that fishing post a long time ago. They even provided pictures! ...people gettin butt hurt over a mod trolling, sheesh.
