HUGE reduction in flask drops?

Anyone else noticing a huge reduction in the amount of flasks that drop? All types and sizes? In the past I have always picked up alot of flasks in the beginning and done alot of combining. Would have a whole tab for life, one for mana, one for hybrids and utility. Then by time I got to my second character I would start picking up only magic/rare flasks or good utility/unique flasks.

Currently in 3.15 Act 2 using 2 medium life, 1 large mana, Quicksilver, and a Bismuth I just got. In my tabs I have 2 small life, 2 small and 2 medium mana, and 1 large mana. That's Everything I have picked up so far. wow.

Nope. Flask drops have been normal for me.

I would attribute it to randomness being randomness (aka "it's RNG."). When I get to Act 2, in my experience it's always been wildly variable whether I get Large/Medium/Whatever Life Flasks by then, sometimes 0, sometimes 3, etc.

Just to be safe, you may want to check your loot filter to make sure it isn't hiding flasks too strictly.

Also, remember that as you gain more experience in what is more "optimal" for speedrunning to Maps, you will often find it more and more "optimal" to kill fewer and fewer monsters in Acts, which drastically reduces the amount of loot you receive.

could be an item filter problem. Some filters hide them and the default filter does not make them too visible

you can always buy life and mana flasks from vendors. most utility flasks can be gained as quest rewards throughout the story (starting at Tidal island ;)).

Well, I purposely changed to my most liberal loot filter for league start, and in fact used none for the first hour or so.
And I definitely learned alot from other players during last league and have been trying to concentrate more on doing quest without trying to clear the maps. Having said that, it seems slower going and it actually took me 4 hours to finish Act 1, so I don't know how these super heroes fly through the game like they do. But then I have been doing alot of trying new things and playing around rather than trying for some standard proven build.

Anyways, that's why I posted, to see if my experience so far is typical or not, so thanks for your reply and suggestions.
