Is WASD Script bannable?

I might be developing carpal tunnel syndrome so in order to enjoy the game I am trying to reduce the amount of mouse movements needed and being able to move with WASD would help a lot.

Question is... would a WASD movement script get my account banned?

Yes. Any type of automation will get you banned if they find out. They couldn't care less about your carpral tunnel. They've been anti macros for ages and I bet the flask piano took a few wrists too.

If you can program a tool to do it yourself then thats a first party tool and the ToS says nothing about that ;)

I'm a little tired of the "It gives you an advantage against other players" crap now to be honest. If someone has a disability that a macro can help and they're not allowed to use it then GGG are giving other players an advantage AGAINST the disabled player.

I mean, lets be honest, having a macro to use 3 pots at once is NO advantage at all. Any able bodied person can press three keys at once, its not hard but it IS annoying to have to do.

GGG have made some of the most rookie and idiotic rules with this game. A long time ago they refused to make QOL changes to the game that everyone was asking for, eventually everyone started using mods and overlays to have the QOL and GGG stupidly coded in detection routines to detect these mods and threatened these people with a ban.

Instead of wasting everyones time why didn't they just listen to the playerbase and put in the QOL? The obvious thing to do if you want to make yourself look an idiot would be do EXACTLY what GGG did.

Where's the auto sort thats in every other ARPG? Where the ability to zoom out? GGG have NO idea what they're doing any more, they need to change the management of the game badly and get someone who knows what gamers want and what good game mechanics are (IE drop all the one shot mechanics).

It's clear that GGG haven't listened to the players and they've never learned a damn thing in the years of making PoE. I have zero faith that PoE2 will be any differant.

Have you tried console? I've heard it is atrocious performance, but it might be worth a try to avoid the medical issues.

i honestly kind of would love to see some controler support for poe, not for myself but a friend of mine dosnt like the mouse controlls the character controlls, so he dosnt play games like poe or diablo, he however played diablo on console and liked it he says, wich even wonders me why there is no controller support to begin with, it is afterall on the console already aviable

I'd say just go for it ether you don't play because of physical pain or you do play w/o it and a small risk of getting an account zapped. GGG has made no effort in making the game accessible to people with physical limitations so who cares.

I can't see how it would be wrong since GGG even promoted RAZOR products, Pretty sure I got the free footprints, So thats all the programmable keyboards and mice :)

Oh, and shouldn't you be fixing in game chat where people talk about all kinds of stuff? Or is editing the word "stupid" more important than someone talking about raping children? Because I see that sort of thing all the time in game and NOBODY does anything about it. I can see its more important to GGG that any criticism about the game is more important to silence than talking of raping children. Pretty sick and I can see why this game is dying.

But sure, go ahead and edit my post anyway to make yourself feel like you achieved something, if thats the best you've achieved in life then well done.
