No more TFT discord
Should have just made Oshabi a master or invent someone new to be that master. Keep the seeds so we trade just those mainly. If there's a GGG internal goal of trying to keep the very top-end players from crafting something worthy of a mirror in league (week 1-2?) then give those Harvest items a split-like tag that prevents mirroring. Still tradable, however.

" I think that rather than itemised crafts, a craft trade transaction would be more appropriate. This would still enforce a limit, but trading crafts would no longer require more trust than a regular trade. And those crafts would have to be able to be listed publically as well of course. I really understand why GGG have not implemented this yet, since they want those crafts to not be traded, but the reality is that they are, except only by a small group of people that gains a considerable economic advantage over the rest. |

Filthy SSF scrub here. Wat is TFT anyway and how it's mandatory to use?

" TFT stands for The Forbidden Trove. As I understand it, they began as a group of players (friends?) aiming to create the very best items in Path of Exile. Over time, they became most commonly known for their Discord (chat app) channels, which have a built-in "vouch" system to build trust for services trading. The service trade that is most relevant to this thread is Harvest crafting. How it works:
Long story short, you buy and sell crafts and other services (such as Uber Lab carries or Challenges) that can't be verified through an item-based trade screen. Instead, buyers are required to add trustworthiness to the sellers they buy from (didn't scam me), acting as the verification of service-based trades (seller did 150 services without scamming, so probability of scamming me is low). "Here. let me dupe that Annilis for you... I'll stand over here by Gheed, and you drop it real fast three times..."
Yeah... I just do my own crafting and item hunting. Or buy finished items. Oh... making changes to sell crafts is cool though. But I'd never trust anyone with a good item if I didn't live close enough to beat their head in with a fence-post if they scammed me. >:) Given the value of a mirror-tier item, it's worth building up a rep to rip off something that nice. Stealing a good enough item would basically fund all your characters for as long as you want to play PoE and then some. You'd only have to do it once. Plus, discord is cancerous spyware, managed by even nastier people. Last edited by Sabranic_SilverDeth#2793 on Jul 15, 2021, 6:51:45 AM

" I recall World of Warcraft had that item window where you place your item and the other guy can apply a craft. That would be interesting to have something like that, but I guess it would require some sort of trading bench. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

" Yes, that sort of thing is what I had in mind. It would also work for stuff like mirror services, although depending on the craft, the outcome would have to be obscured so that people cannot change their mind after seeing it, but can change their mind without seeing it. |
