If i understand it correctly, the factor is what dictates by how much the resolution gets reduced when dynamic resolution kicks in.
Basically it allows you to adjust whether when DR kicks in, you want to play Diablo 2 or Dungeon siege 2 image quality-wise. No rest for the wicked.

" Make sense, thx. Would be cool to know how much variations of this factor exist but yeah... |
|
" a joke xD |

It's for the Mac OS client. When you enable it and adjust the slider, you'll see the resolution change.
The same effect can be achieved on a PC client by just adjusting the Resolution setting.
" Did not really understand :D but since it's for Mac I assume it has no effect on Windows? Last edited by gorioo#7514 on Jul 14, 2021, 7:05:29 AM

" windows version has no such functionality |
|
" It does, it has the ability to set the Resolution of the window.
" i have to say not correct, further my idea of that.... done by the following (just an example): borderless_windowed_fullscreen=false maximize_window=false resolution_height=1080 resolution_width=2542 this is how i set my resolution of the window. nothing to do with "dynamic resolution factor" Last edited by b44dss#1052 on Jul 15, 2021, 9:33:22 AM
