Can't start the Game after Patch 3.14.3

Hi, I can no longer start the game using the desktop link. I have to go to the game folder to start it as an administrator. Do I have to download the game from scratch? Does anyone else have this problem? Quick help would be great

Edit your desktop link to:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\PathOfExile_x64.exe" 😹😹😹😹😹

Are you using a Standard User account or an Administrator account in Windows? Has anything else changed apart from the PoE patch? 😹😹😹😹😹

I'm in the Administrator account and it has changed nothing else. The only thing is, that the poe Desktop link and the link in the Windows Taskbar dont start the game and produce this error. but if i start direct from the directory it works fine

Start the game from
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\PathOfExile.exe" They replaced the x64 .exe by a small executable that launch the PathOfExile.exe, which is now the main and only x64 exe. Last edited by Silverpelt#6095 on Jul 8, 2021, 6:34:49 AM

" They have removed the 32 bit client file as you can read here --> https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3144892 You have to update your shortcut to start the 64 bit client, so not a bug but per game design of GGG. |
