Oh ok, see that's what I was wondering about because when the damage over time hits a monster and I notice it gets down to the last 10% and stops. I thought the culling strike granted from the dagger mod would have applied it.
Damage over Time and Hits are mutually exclusive. One cannot be the other. Bane does not have any hit components.
