Awakened Melee Physical vs. Awakened Brutality?

Technically if you have no other source of Intimidate in your build, and you have a fast enough hit rate to proc quality's 10% chance Intimidate for 4 seconds reliably, and you are looking at only Attack Damage and not DOTs (so actually the opposite of what aggromagnet wrote), and the enemy has no PDR, Awakened MPD will be slightly better than Awakened Brutality.

That's a lot of ifs, though. Personally I think I'd prioritise Awakened Brutality for the reliability granted by the Overwhelm quality bonus. In most builds I would imagine I would use both.

Yeah I'm having trouble thinking of situations where these would actually compete and you woudln't just use both. Even if your attack is a 4-link, there aren't 2 other support gems to use over them.
