Mines & Heralds Purity & Agony

Just trying to understand the difference and why Herald of Purity will work with mines and still summon minions while Herald of Agony will not summon the agony crawler.

Purity:
When you kill an enemy while you have this buff, this skill will summon a Sentinel of Purity

Agony:
When you poison an enemy while you have this buff, you … summon an Agony

Is it because its the skill vs you doing the summoning? Is it that the kill from the mine is attributed to you, but in poisoning its only attributed to the mine? Something else?

Both shouldn't work with mines.

There is a bug that credits every kill caused by DoTs to you. In other cases trap/mins kills shouldn't proc sentinels summoning.

It used to be a bug 8 years ago. Now it is definitely a feature :))
