Geodesic Ring Corruption

What happens to Geodesic Ring if I corrupt it, will one of the suffix disappear or something if the implicit change? or will it be possible to keep 2 prefix and 4 suffix and change the implicit?

Can't remember has someone tested it or not ...would the item just brick and nothing changed
