Ultimatum League: I finally did it! A semi-viable Hidden Blade utilizing build!

This is not a build guide by the way, far from it. It's mostly just me showing how I managed to discover and experiment my way to finding a use for this weapon. I initially was only going for a Death's Oath only walking simulator build (My build still is, I literally only walk in the game now) when I realized I could potentially add the Hidden Blade to my build since it doesn't stop my Phase Run.

Although, if people get interested in my build, I can put up a Path of Building here so people can try it! Personally, I find the concept of simply walking and killing everything without doing anything extra like casting or attacking really nice.

This is also the very first build I made myself, so I hope people aren't too critical with it. It's my first time making a build from scratch xD I'm open to suggestions though!

GGG, please don't nerf. I worked extremely hard to find a way for these two uniques to actually work :( and although the gameplay itself isn't too active and makes some aspects of the game easy, "ACTUALLY ACQUIRING" the items and stuff to get to this point took lots of blood, sweat, and tears on my exile :'(

Simple, it's not my main source of damage. That goes to this bad boy:



Using Death Aura for around 1.7m SDPS (Sirus Damage) chaos damage, and using that for clear with these wands:


...So where does Hidden Blade Come in? It helps with bossing.

Yup. Bossing!

I lose around 700k SDPS since I lose my wands to weapon swap, but I have this claw that gives me around 350k SDPS back which I use as my off-hand:



And here's my hidden blade set-up:


You see that one green gem called Culling Strike? Well yes, that's the key Gem here! Aside from that, I'm using Poison mainly to scale the damage on the Unseen Strike skill

With this setup I have around 900k SDPS from Death Aura and around 400k SDPS from the Unseen Strike Skill from the Hidden Blade

Although I do lose an over-all 350k SDPS, it's honestly alright since the culling strike more than makes up for the lost DPS with the instant kill once the enemy reaches lower than 10% HP.

I tried this on Sirus A5 so far where I used my main weapons to phase Sirus to his last phase, then during his last phase I used my weapon swap and although damaging took slightly longer, the instant kill in the end was nice.

...and I mean, Chaos damage so I didn't have to worry about Sirus' Energy Shield.

So yeah, build works awesome!

...My over-all gear costs around 40-60 Exalts. Trust me, it was really expensive and took a lot of experimentation in Path of Building to make a "WALKING ONLY" character actually work.

I do not recommend as league starter. xD

As a league starter? Hell no. It's too expensive to set-up. I actually league started as a Cold-Cyclone-Raider and farmed up for "Key" uniques required such as the Death's Oath and a Staff as a starter weapon. After that, I just played, scaled, and crafted my way to where it is now. The equipment needed you probably have to craft yourself since walking simulators aren't something everyone does and the items you need are rare; otherwise you'll have to buy very expensive items.

As a farmer? Yes. Definitely Yes. It's a very fast and relatively safe build with capped dodge, around 4.8k life, 144+ Movement speed, and overcapped chaos resistance and max resistances across the board. The build also never stops moving which is a very good thing. The build is "ALL" about walking 100% of the time; if you stop you have a high chance of dying.

I actually made this build as a Heist Farmer, the "Ultimate" thief as I like to call it since I walk into Heists, get stuff, and get out without lifting a finger aside from taking the loot. Yup, I don't do anything else other than walk and take loot in heists hoho.

Surprisingly, the build also works really well in Blight, Alva's Incursions, Delving (I'm currently in the 200's so it's alright to farm the upper shallows. I haven't tried very deep delving yet), and Ultimatums since it's immune to many of the debuffs that Ultimatums bring on it (Corrupted Blood, Maim, Hinder, and Silence Immune + Flask Freeze/Chill, and Curse Immunity). Also immune to damage reflect IF NOT using the Hidden Blade.

Just for the fun and memes? If you're like me and live for the memes, then I suggest go for it! If you have exalts to spend and want to try a build that isn't mainstream (yet I guess) and like the concept of hugging your enemies to death (aka Death by Snuu-snuu) then this is the build you might want to try xD.

I have to say though, since the build doesn't do anything but walk... It's less buttons than even Flicker Strike, Cyclone, and Minion Builds. So it might not be for everyone.

However, the build is good for training players when it comes to boss mechanics and other mechanics of the game. Since the player keeps moving and their only focus is literally dodging and occasionally hugging bosses, you can learn the game mechanics with this build pretty easily. Just keep watching boss/mechanics and try to learn them while dodging. Then when you see an opening, hug them. Then rinse and repeat! It's good training and I've learned how to counter many boss mechanics due to it. Examples were me fighting Atziri and Sirus; whose mechanics I didn't fully comprehend until all the visual clutter of other skills were removed and it was just me and them in the arena
