MAO KUN unique map needs to be re-designed like ALL OTHER unique maps

Jesus christ, just spent like 15minutes searching for those mobs.. who designed the map and thought yeah lets make the player endlessley search for mobs that may or may not appear..
Finally after 15minutes of searching for the LAST MOB I found that it was a chest behind the shipwreck at the beginning that needed to be opened.

This and a lot of other unique maps if not all feel like straight out of 2007. They don´t belong to this game and need eighter a major rework or just get removed and replaced by new unique maps that are proper unique in POE 2.

Unique maps are never something I feel exited to find.. I find them and feel dread that I need to run that sometime to get the atlast bonus and thats it.

I run it once per league and eventho it's only 10 min in a 3 month league it is the 10 minutes i hate the most, i loathe that map it is pure trash.

Other unique maps are shit(exept the reworked cowards trial) as well but nothing like this abomination.

Well Whakawairua Tuahu boss is about as irritating.. especially with a totem build.
unique maps in general are awful and very outdated....i run them 1 time per league because its ALWAYS a challenge to do 15/18.

They actually always were outdated cept maybe poojays/vinktars at one time... Compared to a juiced up map they are/were trash.

Unique maps are another reason I call this game bloatware. 99% of systems are a waste of time unfun and/or tedious.

Smart people just do metas but some tedious unfun shit is unavoidable like lab, atlas completing so maps continue to drop (which requires you run those unique maps and other maps you may not like), and recipe getting. (especially from Jun/unveiling)

I never bother with challenges because they stacked with things I don't want to do so any I get is by accident doing content I want to. Which basically amounts to building a GG toon which can do all content/bosses.

My tactic of this map is never clear mob in the first phase, find fairgrave straight.

Then follow the minimap to back track and then start to clear minimap fog

Likes the immortal boss at centre and kill the 4 sideboss map

I mean instead of having all these complete trash unique maps.. in POE 2 just focus on some FEW and make them TRUE uniques with some unique interesting boss fights, a unique place aka not being rehashed from other zones to compile the map.. complete unique art/design to the rest of the games places.

Something I do love though is Ultimatums risk vs reward.. making fights harder at the same place but increasing the rewards, lose and you lose all, this could be a map design. Theres a ton of stuff to fiddle around with and think outside the box as a leading aRPG game.
