Delve : seek passionate delvers to answer my questions

Hello to all.

I'm getting close to 300 depth with my Vortex ColdSnap Occultist and I was wondering what was the best strategy because the cost in sulphite is insane and the rewards are very low.

Delve is my favorite content, by far, on PoE. But I'd also like to start earning currency to improve my build a bit more and would like to know the best strategy to take.

Push further and further without worrying about fractured walls and wait for the end of node rewards? For the moment it doesn't pay anything. After 300 it gets better? Even in the cities at this depth (270) the rewards are low too :s

Stay between depth 70/100 and go sideways to farm fractured walls and resonators and fossils ? Is there an optimal depth to do this and is it worth it ?

Reach a certain depth (which one?) and go sideways?

I read all the posts on reddit and the forum about Delve and I didn't find much info unfortunately. I leave it to you and wish you a nice day

Do what ever you find more fun. You'll last longer that way. You can alternate strategies just to keep thing interesting without penalty. You'll eventually find which works best for you.

Pimp out your Atlas to give you more sulphite. You can squeeze out the other areas by only putting stones in the area that gives you Niko bonuses. Run lower tier maps that you feel you should... they'll be quicker and give you more maps that the higher tier ones will.

If you're a trader, trade for Niko scarabs. They'll help. Use them when you run out of Niko missions.

Above all, quit worrying about "rewards". You're playing a game... not optimizing your business.

Hit your mana flask with an Aug... because why the hell not?

Advertise to share nikko dailies, this will get you 5 extra nikko maps per day.
I get to max mob level depth and go sideways, this is depth 180 fpr lvl 83 mobs.
Fractured walls is where i make the most.
Upgraded chests, forget name, always give an ex or a divine.

LOL you only get one shot at life might as well live it to full enjoyment but Delve ant shit compared to OG Delve with dark farming and real fossils who gave good mods. I barley touch it nowadays.

But best rewards are when you can meet Aul... sub 250...maybe he gives up a sweet Grace free ammy. Whatever... I dont farm smurfs anymore.

"optimizing" is the killer app or "hook" of this game in case you have not noticed. Whether it be figuring out how to beat all contents, best riches, or min maxing thats what vast majority is here for. I here to say Delve aint it. (at least anymore)

lazy mode. Dark delve tunnels you ran before. max out your niko areas on atlas, do not ignore fractured walls as it's pretty clear this is where any buffs are at for shallow delvers.

Turn excess azurite into money by buying resonators and selling in bulk.

Go sideways and look for "minion/aura" and the various elemental warband nodes for those delve-only affixes.

Fossil crafting took a mortal hit this league so only delve if you like the challenge for yourself to see how deep you can get.

OP, youve chose wrong league and time to go delving. Delve is "buffed" now. We are all know whats this mean from GGG.
