Brand Recall (and Sign of Purpose) usage

how about redesigning it a bit, to make it usefull under more than one situation (penance, ultrashort ticks, basically an aoe with extra steps taken)

why not make "brand recall" track duration of the oldest brand created, if its under 25% duration (treshold of sign of purpose) you can cast brand recall, and it makes your brand recall, reattack and triggers 2-3 extra-ticks additional to the ones ticking already.

so a char thats not a templar can use it for some boss extra ticks - shorter duration = more uses of brand recall, longer duration, better uptime with brand recalls CD



so now about templar skill tree hierophant: skilling the sign of purpose on the templar could just increase either brand recalls extra ticks by 2 (so not 2-3 extras but 4-5) or increase those extra ticks dmg% or put up the treshold when brand recall can be activated (at 35% already for example)


basically it would still make 25% (to 35%) boss extra-dmg, but it would streamline brand-recall into a "common" rotation thats always usefull without staring at brand durations manually.

brand-recall would only be usable if at least one brand is at 25% rest duration.


i think that would make brands + recall a bit more understandable - so far the only use i found was penance+short-dur+swiftbrand - to make an aoe dot so fast, its basically a normal AoE but with extra-steps ?!
