That's silly... they even acknowledge that it's a French phase. You should either use "instead" or "en lieu". Don't mix them up.

" Eh, don't shoot the messenger. Languages are not logical, they grow. It probably was "en lieu" at some time, but people changed it. They also say "beef" instead of "bœuf" these days in English speaking countries. And "per say" instead of "per se", although I'm not sure if any respectable dictionary has it. Bird lover of Wraeclast

" Frankly, I was surprised and delighted to discover that I finally had a FREE cursor option that will make it harder to lose the damn thing in all the screen spam. People bitching about the cursor MTXs just want something to complain about. They don't feel alive if they'r not unhappy. " Huh. I've always used "in lieu" as an Anglicized idiom, not as a French term. =0[.]o= =^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/

" I think you are wrong here, Sir. It may be stupid, but "in lieu" seems to be the correct spelling by today's standards, going quite a few years back. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

The whole purpose of using "en lieu" is to sound pretentious. You should use the French spelling. It makes you that much more pretentious when you do.

I dont see why ppl are down on this monetization scheme. It's not like unethical like gamble your points away mystery boxes. I've never thought about getting a new cursor so I think it's pretty cool.
