Why i'm already quitting the league
So..heres my feedback why i'll be quitting this league :
1) Flasks : Theres is so much power in flasks and they are such a short duration, the "Piano Flasks" meme isnt a joke - it's a sad reality. Many builds rely on having 3-4 flask effects active at all times, lest they die instantly while fighting overpowered hordes of headhunter enemies. The even more sad part is, builds that rely on said flask effects are even more penalized in endgame bossfights; since theres few - if any - adds you gain no flask charges and therefor dont have the stats you need to survive/deal damage. And does anyone really think its a fun activity to smash 1-5 every 2.4 seconds? (Because honestly, who has time to watch flask timers in a fight?!) Its only gotten worse with every league. There needs to be either more stats and power brought back to character, or some flasks need some conditional activating to relieve players of the button smashing. Or better yet, reduce flask slots (1 Life, 1 Dmg, 1 Utility flask?) 2) Trade : I get it, you dont want an auction house...but have you tried trading for currency/maps/crafting ingredients in the past few leagues? Good luck finding someone willing to trade after you ignored the first 30 entries and tried another 20 times before a tradebot invites you. Have fun doing that for every single item.Oh yeah, alt tabbing for 15 minutes per trade sure is immersing. There needs to be a solution IN GAME to at least handle currency, map and crafts trading. 3) Loot : There is just too much worthless junk loot in this game. Yes, i know theres loofilters and they are a good thing. But when even moderate lootfilters blend out 95% of everything that drops in a map, theres something wrong with the loot system. Hell, Empyrean nearly crashed the server when they exploited the Ultimatum.... Not every loot drop needs to be worth something, but the amount of trash is just amazing. The loot system needs to be reworked to drop way,way less and make loot more meaningfull and exciting. 4) Death Log : HOW is this not in the game for several years now? The amount of times i died without having a clue as to what killed me and why is astounding. Im not the best player and sure i die alot because im stupid and/or roll crazy map mods, but so often i die on characters with high defenses and moderatly rolled maps to PREVENT that. Sometimes i die to a random white mob or i die in a battle with literally 100 graphical effects happening on screen where i cant see anything because everything happens so fast... I just wanna know WHY i died. Was it some rare mod, was i standing in some ground effect, did my flasks run out (see Problem 1), was it some on-death effect? I simply have no clue and no way of improving myself or my character... 5) Harvest : Either remove it completly or let us sell harvest crafts as items, just like Einhar beasts. Having to rely on a Discord Server and trusting random people because good crafts are rarer to find than exalted orbs is just hilarious. Or make harvest crafted items account bound and restore original harvest. I really love this game and i am looking forward to PoE 2, but this league has burned me out so fast and the issues are not being adressed for several leagues now... Anyway, thats just MY feedback and not everyone has to agree with it. Hope the game keeps evolving and getting better! - Marthuk Last edited by Marthuk#0788 on May 7, 2021, 7:02:13 AM Last bumped on May 7, 2021, 7:52:36 PM

95%? man my filter cut about 99,9% loot. with 95% u will need about 20-30 portals/map
about trade: they like their scammers and rmt. no way to change it flasks: tons of players use macros. its forbidden but they do it cus it sux. ggg doesnt rly care death logs: nah too much bugs like white monster hits for 100000000 dmg. in current state they could just say "its not true" or w/e harvest: it was op. they burn it to the ground cus it was easier than made items accountbounded or w/e. gg ggg dont try to look for any reasons in ggg actions - there is none. i stop believing in their sanity after their "trade manifesto" - it was a biggest bullshit i have ever read in any game forums |

Amazing, i agree with every single point.
POE is too stressful to play right now and these aspects break your immersion all the time. We dont need more content, we need the existing content to be better and easier to handle. I'm not quitting the league yet because still having a lot of fun doing ultimatums, but its good to see that other people are noticing the same issues. |

" People even use macros for warcrys and others "smash this button on CD" skills. |

I would rather pour you for it :)

When it comes to flasks, I am considering of risking my $2000 account just to eliminate one big gameplay hurdle - flask piano
I have started to research builds that do not use flasks at all as there are some mechanics for it, but so far it seems like a big meme rather than viable option. At least in comparison with builds like Archmage Pathfinder It is such a shame that GGG explicitly restricts in ToS standard features of any "gaming" peripherals like keyboard and mouse macros. That it such a anti consumer decision it is mindbogling. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

" Yeah, im not risking my account for some macros ^^ Just feels bad when you have a build with more than two buttons and in addition you need to hammer flasks like crazy...takes the joy out of the game for me :S |

Agree.

Valid points, but all of them were true in the previous league as well?
Also burnout is pretty common if you have been playing several leagues consecutively, might be healthy to take a break. |
