Positive Regen but cannot sustain RF

I've been playing this same build for a couple of leagues and usually, I can sustain RF from early 50s. However, I'm level 58 now and still degen-ing like crazy even though my regen seems to be > degen and POB says the same.

Lets do some math ^^
RF burns your life at a 90% rate of which you do mitigate 78%, means you will still take 22% fire dmg. 90% x 0.22 = 19.8% total life degen Your regen sits at 20.7% and thus you should still beat the degen and regen about 0.9% of your total life. However RF also burns 70% of your ES and this adds to the above mentioned degen as well to your overall dmg. So this would be 70% x 0.22 = 15.4% total ES degen, which wont stop if you run out of ES. Its still active in the background. Meaning you are taking 2 seperate degens at the same time. Life and ES based. Life degen: 19.8% based off 2681 total life = 530.8 degen ES degen: 15.4% based off 253 total ES = 38.96 degen Combined degen therefore is: 530.8 + 38.96 = 569.76 Your total life regen: 554.2 Means: 554.2 regen minus total 569.76 degen = 15.5 degen per sec If you stand in your HO and activate RF you should degen about 15 life per sec. Sounds correct? |
