How well does PoE run on intel igpu 750?
60fps? no way.
Vega8 (Ryzen 2200g) was able to barely keep up 30fps@1080p on non juiced maps.. but i had the feeling that it was because of the lack of CPU power. was a really weird feeling though playing thigs like PoE, Skyrim without a GPU :/ d:-D*

Ryzen iGpus-s are fairly good but you really need some decent ram with them
Only issue is iGpu processors are also being gobbled up by miners so even a 2200g costs twice as much as it would have 2 years ago.... The game doesn't need 60 fps to be playable, even 10-20 is enough as long as it doesn't freeze up the screen for seconds @omnibean do you have the PC with that intel cpu or are you just thinking of what to buy? |

" yeah, i've heard good things about 4k ryzens series.. too bad they are OEM only right now. waiting for the new versions. i mean, if they are able to pull like 30% more GPU power out of those ships.. i probably toss my GTX 970 into the river and go all in on igpus :cigar: d:-D*

" [Removed by Support] And also yet again fucking please point out where I'm wrong here. Performance is a significant issue in PoE. It's well documented, both from GGG and players. " Mine was doing a1 at like 15-45 fps. Was happy it booted. The 2200g is a great chip, i got mine for $95, they are now $240. Fonts with the amd are much better than other onboard. I use it in the bedroom. Built this 5800x two weeks ago and loving it for my main computer |

" when it comes to games 2200G is total shit if you pair it with a decent GPU, my old 3570k did way better on any games... zen 1 is just that bad d:-D*

intel on board GPU are not good for gaming and clearly not good for POE, if you want something cheap with integrated GPU go for AMD, Ryzen 3 3200g and Ryzen 5 3400g integrated graphic card are pretty decent, may be not for 1080p at 60FPS but they can handle the game on lower settings.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSrDfwVyNDw athlon 3000g could be added as a super budget procesor with integrated graphics but i have my doubts it will be able to handle poe when the screen is full of monsters or skill spamming. personaly i would go for a ryzen 3 3100, 16gb ram, a motherboard that support both 3 gen and 5 gen procesors and a low end GPU like the 2gb 1030. Low end GPUs are not in high demand so their price while still high is more reasonable and you will get a far better performance than most procesor with integrated graphics. Later on when things normalise you can replace the 1030 with something better aswell as upgrade the procesor. self found league fan http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/324242/page/1 Last edited by caboom#7201 on May 9, 2021, 9:41:46 AM

It depends on the motherboard bus speed and the quality of the RAM. These integrated GPU's don't have dedicated memory and use onboard resources. You would need RAM costing approximately $150 with a similar MB cost to run semi modern games at consistant frame rates lower than or @ 1080p.
The MB, CPU and RAM alone would cost about $500 to run games to a standard comparable to a $80-$120 dedicated GPU in an older machine my experience. Buy a dedicated GPU unless the rest of your system is pretty good. Playing on anything less that 16GB 4GHZ DDR4 will be problematic especially on a games like POE with network lag spikes every map. |
