The 50-65 push for exp.
So I've decided to ask a question to anyone who is above level 70. I have made it to act 2 merciless on three characters. I am currently farming the ledge on my highest character, who is 58. I'm at the ledge xp compared to felshrine actually seems much greater, plus I'm running a rarity low life build so the sight restrictions of felshrine also suck.
Leveling seems to hit a huge brick wall. I was wondering what the general tactic is for pushing up beyond 60 and into 70? Do you farm the ledge until 60 and then try to work through act 2 and then farm something else? What zones do you tend to stick to for the best experience and lowest risk per level? I'm tried everything up to chamber of sins. Maybe I'm just use to normal and cruel being ez mode. IGN: Oryas or iicycloneii or Leveiup

Maps have exponentially greater EXP gain than regular content. If you're able to reach it and do it as a group, you should see very high returns per map done. A friend of mine (72) leeching from my 88 Ranger in 66 maps gains some 10% per map done.
Alternatively, if you feel up to snuff for it, try to get to City of Sarn. The pack density to zone size ratio makes it far better than Docks for EXP. |

Try finishing the content. You should have no problem getting to 70 just finishing Act 3.
The game lets you level fairly easily as you do the correct level zones. Plus the fact that Docks is level 62 means that you should be doing it (ie almost finished) at level 62. the safe (hardcore) way is ledge -> 55-65, Fellshrine -> 63-70, City of Sarn -> 68-73, Docks -> 70-75, maps
Western Forest is also an option if you feel comfortable there. City of Sarn is very easy if you stay on the left side, evading the rather hard unique-Boss there (but you have to get past vaal ofc) this can ofc be shortened the stronger your Build/Gear is. |

Pending on SC or HC...
HC id grind fell til 65/66 when I could gear up a bit for vaal and then progress to act3 get a few levels at docks or sarn and then begin maps. My first roll around HC i did docks til lvl 73 or 74. SC Id finish a3 merci by lvl 65/66 and then just do maps. If decently geared/you know how to play you should be able to begin maps before level 70. Invasion - No Sacrifice No Glory

50-65 is no harder than...20-30 or whatever.
Come back and whine when you're 75-80, or 80-90. Now that's time consuming. PS: the answer is run docks over and over. And when you're done run docks some more. Fun stuff. Start doing maps at 60-65-ish. And enjoy the slap in the face of much higher risk, but the same crappy drops. Last edited by DamageIncorporated#7815 on Apr 3, 2013, 11:32:01 AM

" Did merciless ledge until level 53, then rushed through merciless, killed Piety at lvl 61, and ran docks from 62-ish to 72. (Around 40 mins/level there). Then Lunaris from 72 to 75, and i'm mostly doing maps now. |
