Tentacle Miscreation Spectre Support Gems

Can anybody suggest anything better for damage than Minion Damage?

I calculated that the Minion Damage gem increases my specters damage by about 32%, so I feel like I can do better than that. (If you didn't know, the more minion damage passives/gear you have, the less effective this gem is.)

Well what's better than 32%? The physical damage gems are best (Melee Physical, Added Fire, etc.), but obviously not for TM specters (only 50% physical). And there are no gems that multiply elemental damage, but I wouldn't use them anyways for the same reason.

So that leaves basically Added Chaos. But without knowing the exact damage my specters do, those gems can't be calculated. For instance, 55-83 Chaos damage on top of 100 is huge, but on top of 400 damage, it would be crap and you'd be better off using something else. I don't know why GGG doesn't want us to know damage/life of enemies.

So ya, is Minion Damage 2nd to Faster Attacks for TM specters? Or is there something better? Added Chaos level 20? 81-122 added chaos damage. So that means if my specters are already doing triple that amount, then Added Chaos starts to not look so good. But are my specters doing 300 damage? I have no clue.

i tested the chaos a while ago .
it works very good since the chaos dmg is done from every little spike of the titty bitches
since they fire "a series of shots" u have to count the spikes from one arm - make it x2
and then x GMP so it leaves me at least with the double amount of chaos. and if u got fire resi mobs it will melt trough it with the chaos .
also chain can be very funny

as someone mentioned they are too fragile. u can have a spectre which is "even" with the dmg and survive alot more.

Also, tittybitches don't do as much as Incinerators.

Do Incinerators cast? I'm guessing so since they don't fire physical projectiles that I know of; just pure elemental. So Faster Attacks maybe not best on specters if you use both. I decided instead of Faster Attacks I'm gonna use Minion Life I think.

To the other guy, you'd have to raise all the zombies around the mob you're trying to specter, if you use Remote Mine.

incinerators do normal attks which can be boost from faster atks - everthing which can be boost from faster atks AND IS MELEE can be boost with multiple strikes - see minion guide for more infos :)

Multistrike and Splash do not work on minions (not sure about DB minions though). Zombies are melee, but they don't work on them.

i have to disagree it WAS tested from a high lvl summoner .

Spectre with multi strike is interesting

cinder elementals rolls 3 times (very good spectre imo, spreads that aoe fire, and they are naturally tanky)

flicker strike, strikes 3 times

leap slam, slams 3 times

charge, not sure doesn't look like multi strike is affecting these spectres

other notable melee spectres with multi strike are the bears that deal chaos damage and the giant statues

throw the questions into the minion guide or read it completly . will answer alot of question which i read the last 2 weeks around the forum

I even paid for and then traded away a multistrike because I watched my zombies attack, and there was no change; just 1 slow swipe. I guess I'll have to look at it again. And yes I do know you have to resummon them after changing gems.

i dont own a multi strike gem on my own.
but
i 100% trust matt C , he has made a own guide for summoner - alot player play after his guide

especially at cinder elementals - u can check it very easy.
as soon as i get a multi i ll test it myself ofc to confirm it in the minion guide :)
