Spell block / dodge too important for Ultimatum?
|
Apparently the builds doing well in ultimatum are the ones with high spell block or spell dodge.
Doesn't that lower the build diversity by a good amount? What do you guys think? Last edited by Krayken#1299 on Apr 26, 2021, 2:56:28 PM Last bumped on Apr 26, 2021, 7:27:09 PM

All league mechanics are better on some builds than others.
If your main intent is to play a new league's mechanic, you definitely need to pick your build accordingly. |

I'm doing ok with crap gear playing a LL Slayer with Oni-Goroshi and Vaal Double Strike. So my defenses are crap, but I can over leech most damage, and hop away with leap slam if it gets too hairy. Once I find a better sword the extra defense from a shield might help.
So there's lots of different ways to play. Just because one person has found a solution, doesn't mean you have to copy them. |

" um not really attack dodge is more important that spell dodge, the rares that kill you are auto attacking you with 30 buffs from other rares |

You need to be more tanky than average builds to do better in ultimatums.
Spells in particular seems to be more deadly, i agree. This game lacks elemental mitigation effects outside resistances in my opinion. |

"Oh no, a build type that does better in a mechanic than others, better put a negative spin on it"
Every league mechanic favours 1 type of build...good thing there are 57 different league mechanics to choose from at the moment hey! |
